6000D edition 2026, 36 years of pleasure… July 30 to 1 august

The 6000D, a legendary race and the first of its kind, is still considered a challenge by most trail runners.

Individual challenge, accessible to all

Starting and finishing in Plagne Bellecôte, this 30km trail race has 1500 m of elevation gain and is less demanding than the 6000D but with an equally beautiful and remarkable course.
This route, which follows that of the 6000D, will branch off at Dérochoir to go towards Plan Bois and go back up to Arpette to join the 6000D route and then descend to Plagne Bellecôte.

There will be a large, enthusiastic crowd throughout the event to cheer for you during the 36rd edition, on FRIDAY 1 August, 2026

Access to the new Glacier “Live 3000” will be open for summer 2026 with its new gondola, possibility of stopping at Roche de Mio and the Col de la Chiaupe. An incredible view awaits you at 3050 meters.

is pleased to offer 1 access to Live 3000 for all 6D Lacs runners on Friday July 31.
For accompanying persons, tickets will be on sale at the ski lift ticket offices at the preferential rate (info à venir) to encourage the runners at 3050m.

In order to be as close as possible to the spirit of the Trail, there is only 1 food and drink station and 1 water station (drinks only) on the 30 km.
It is recommended to run self-sufficiently.

There will be between 5 and 6 waves of 250 runners starting every 10 minutes.

Race information

  • There will be between 5 and 6 waves of 250 runners starting every 10 minutes.
  • 30km – 1500 m elevation gain
  • Altitude at start and finish: 1924 m
  • Highest point of the race: 2681 m
  • No more limited time on arrival, 1 Barrier Time at 1.05pm am at Plan Bois
  • Limited to 1500 runners
  • Price : 32€ to 46€ according to registration date
  • Online registration closes on July 26th, 2026 in case the limit of runners is not reached
  • Medical certificate : PPS or licence required to validate registration, opening of online registration on 2 May for the PPS
  • The age limit to run the 6D LACS is 20 years old (born in and before 2006)
  • Compulsory material: Working cell phone, survival blanket, whistle, reusable cup or flask, 4 pins or fasteners for the race number, waterproof jacket with integrated hood (minimum 10,000 Schmerber – 20,000 Schmerber recommended), at least 1 liter of water, food supplies, and ID (in case of emergency, in particular)
  • Strongly recommended : Gloves, hat, sunglasses, cap, neck warmer, additional water and food supplies.
  • Sticks are authorized from the Dou du Praz (there will be too many people in the first ascent to use them)
  • Bibs will be given out in Aime (Salle des Fêtes) Thursday July 30 from 2 pm to 6:30 pm then the morning of the race on Friday July 31 from 6:30 am at the start. An identity card is required for the withdrawal of the bib (individually).
  • there will be lockers available at the starting point in Bellecôte in the salle polyvalente (behind the swimming pool)
